GUCCI Capsule Collection

Being largely inspired by the USSR and Soviet aesthetic, the capsule collection came to life inspired by Soviet house interiors, street style and USSR gymnastic sport clothes. Taking references from pastel colors and folk motifs of Soviet house interiors helped me to characterise the mini collection. Babushkas layer clothing and mixing colors/patterns without doubting are played a significant role on developing silhouettes and details. Nadia Comaneci's simple silhouette gymnastic clothes are the reference to create the base for activewear pieces. Overall, the historical references are mixed with iconic Gucci menswear style and the collection became real.
